Services
|
Serving all courts, handling Small Claims, all maintenance and support payments. Keeps court papers, records names of parties in every civil action, criminal records, judgments, lien dockets, collects fees required on civil actions, judgments and penal fines and pays the same to the County Treasurer. Passports and traffic citations.

Duties
|
The Clerk of Circuit Court is a WI Constitutional Officer elected every four years whose primary duties are outlined in section 59.40 WI Stats. as well as Supreme Court rules. The Clerk is required to maintain a records management system of all documents filed with each circuit branch; keep a record of all court proceedings; jury management and the collection of various fines, fees and forfeitures. There are many divisions within the office; traffic, criminal, family, paternity, small claims and civil.
