About Elder Benefit Specialists

What is a Benefit Specialist?

Benefit Specialists can help in accessing both private and public programs, information about consumer rights, and benefits. They can provide information and advocacy on a wide range of issues and assist with the application and/or appeal process for public and private benefits like Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, Disability, Senior Care, Supplemental Security Income, and Medigap Insurance. Many of the benefit issues that people over the age of 60 and adults with disabilities face are very complex. Benefit Specialists assess the situation and discuss options so that persons can make an informed decision.

Appointments for the Benefit Specialists are required. Appointments are available by phone, at our office, or in your home.  Call to schedule an appointment.

Benefit Specialist services are free, though donations to the program are welcome.
